Clare Ollerenshaw
Project Manager – Nature
Clare co-ordinates and leads the team that works to deliver the Hub at the WMCA. Clare brings 20+ years experience in the environmental sector, having worked across the public, private, and third sectors to design and deliver strategies and projects in the UK, Europe and Africa. Her expertise spans biodiversity, the built environment, and the circular economy, with a strong track record of driving initiatives that create measurable environmental and social impact. Clare is a full member of the Association for Project Management.
Hattie Fuller
Project Delivery Officer – Nature
Hattie is the Nature Projects Delivery Officer at WMCA and an ecologist supporting nature recovery across the West Midlands. With experience across both the private and public sectors and as a key author of a neighbouring LNRS, she brings strong ecological and strategic expertise to her work. Hattie supports projects on the Nature Investment Hub, aligning them with the most appropriate LNRS actions to create a coherent, region‑wide approach to nature delivery.
Tristan Semple
Nature Finance Manager
Tristan oversees nature finance initiatives at WMCA and is committed to scaling up nature-positive finance opportunities across the region. With three decades of expertise in the environment sector, Tristan offers comprehensive experience in managing major programmes and partnerships, mobilising funds, and aligning financial strategies with environmental sustainability and natural capital objectives.
Mike Webb
Natural Capital Programme Manager
Mike is an ecologist with extensive private and public sector experience, with a strong appreciation of both commercial and policy matters. Mike manages the broader Nature Delivery Plan for the West Midlands Combined Authority which includes delivery of the regions Local Nature Recovery Strategy alongside other key initiatives around nature finance and community delivery. The interplay between these workstreams and Mikes continued engagement at regional and national level enables us to progress the WMCAs delivery ambitions for nature.
