Strong regional partnerships sit at the heart of the West Midlands Nature Investment Hub, with every funded project contributing directly to our shared Local Nature Recovery Strategy.

Organisations such as our seven local authorities, the Birmingham and Black Country Wildlife Trust, Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, National Trust, and Canal & River Trust bring essential local knowledge, proven delivery expertise, and a strong track record in restoring and managing habitats across the region. Supported by Defra and the Environment Agency, this collaboration ensures that funding, planning, and delivery align seamlessly to achieve meaningful, nature‑positive outcomes.
